Sacramento Room Hours are: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

When inquiring about an image seen on the Web, include all data accompanying the image as well as a print of the image itself.

Copy Availability:

The Library has arranged with a specific photographer to provide photographic services. Charges are payable to the photographer.

In addition, the following fees will be charged by and are payable to Sacramento Public Library.

Handling fees:

$5.00 for each of the first five items; $2.50 for each of the five items; $1.00 for each additional item.
If a negative must be made before a photo is printed, the photographer will add the negative cost to the charges. The Library will retain the negative.

If the photographer must come to the Library to shoot materials that cannot leave the Sacramento Room, a charge of $5.00 for each photograph will be added to the cost.

There is no limit to the number of items that may be ordered.

Permission to publish

Publication of images from the Sacramento Room is subject to the following conditions:

Approval must be obtained in advance. A credit statement: "From the Special Collections of the Sacramento Public Library" must be published with the image(s).

Use of graphics for such items as posters, T-shirts, notepaper, mugs, etc., may be subject to special contractual procedures, and should be discussed with Sacramento Public Library.
